Quality Control

Osberley operates a multi-layer quality control system that covers raw materials, in-process monitoring, and finished product testing. The system is designed to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and compliance with documented specifications. We do not rely on spot checks alone. Every batch is subject to the same set of tests before release.

Raw Material Control

All incoming raw materials are quarantined upon receipt. Sampling and testing are performed before materials are approved for production. Suppliers are audited periodically, and only those who maintain consistent quality records remain on our approved list.

In-Process Monitoring

Samples are taken at defined stages during fermentation, downstream processing, and blending. Key parameters — including pH, temperature, and enzyme activity — are logged continuously. Any deviation outside the established range triggers a review before the batch proceeds to the next stage.

Finished Product Testing

Final release testing includes:

○  Purity – HPLC analysis to confirm active ingredient concentration

○  Microbial Limits – Testing for total plate count, coliforms, and pathogens

○  Stability – Accelerated stability studies and real-time monitoring

○  Heavy Metals – Compliance with feed additive regulations

Each test follows written procedures. Results are recorded in batch-specific reports.

Documentation and Traceability

Every batch is assigned a unique lot number. This number follows the product from raw material receipt through production to final shipment. Customers receive a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each lot they purchase. Retention samples are kept for a minimum of two years for traceback purposes.

Third-Party Verification

In addition to in-house testing, Osberley periodically submits samples to independent laboratories for verification. This includes testing for undeclared substances and method validation. The results are compared with internal findings to confirm alignment.

Facility Standards

Production facilities maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Environmental monitoring — including air quality and surface sanitation — is conducted regularly. Personnel involved in quality control receive ongoing training in testing methods and regulatory requirements.
